What to do in Tallinn


Strolling around the city is very pleasant as there are many wonderful sights to see. These include Toompea Castle, The Estonian Open Air Museum, the Estonian Museum of Natural History and many quaint alleyways and cobbled streets.

The city boasts a vibrant nightlife with a selection of excellent restaurants, lively bars and heaving nightclubs. The Town Hall Square is an ideal spot to spend the early part of an evening. Here you will find a wide range of cafés and trendy bars where locals and visitors meet.

Tourist Attractions


The old city is Tallinn's biggest tourist attraction. It dates back to the 15th century and is home to some excellent souvenir shops.

Kadriorg Palace houses the Kadriorg Art Museum. Tsar Peter I began building the palace in 1718 and legend says that he laid the first foundation stone.

The Tallinn Zoo is home to one of the most fascinating collections of animals in Northern Europe. The zoo opened its doors in 1939 and has over 5,400 animals from 350 species.
